From author Jodi Linton, "Pretty Reckless" from her Deputy Laney Briggs Series

Of all of author Jodi Linton's Deputy Laney Briggs series, this was my favorite. Don't get me wrong the others were terrific but I'm putting this one down as my favorite. It had secrets, undercover work, mysteries revealed, broken trust and hearts, love and sex all consuming, but what I loved the most was the humor. I tell you Laney and Gunner can argue, make-up and have the greatest sex written and they can make you laugh. I don't do spoilers so this is it. I hope this is enough to get you to grab it, read it and review it. You won't be sorry; I bet my britches you'll love it. Grab it and the others in the series at your favorite book site. https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=Deputy+laney+briggs

Ophelia Bell's latest "Dragon Blues" GREAT see my 5 star review

This is my updated review on the revised "Dragon Blues" - This revised version is just amazing. It's expanded background concerning characters and events makes the story sooo much better. We learn new things about all the characters; the who's, why's and what's behind their actions. The return of the villain is terrific, making you both hate and feeling sorry for him. As always, Ophelia Bell has sexy, sensual action and the few BDSM scenes are right on. Let's not forget about LOVE; in cause you haven't been paying attention to the authors other "Dragon" stories, dragon's love deeply and forever. I don't do spoilers, but I highly recommend this story to those that love to read amazing paranormal romance that includes thrills, suspense, danger, and sensual scenes. In fact I say "YOU HAVE TO GET THIS BOOK."  -

Review on original Version -
I love Ophelia Bell's books, especially her titillating dragon books, and this is no exception. In this book we have two brothers who have lost their sister to "Hunters" because of what a woman on the Council did thousands of years before. One falls in love with her the first time he sees her, not knowing that she is the one he blames for his sisters death. She falls for him also and knows she has to tell him who she is. In his anger he rejects her. But his brother knows they are meant to be together; what he didn't know was that he too would fall in love with her. She learns she desires them both and knows it is more than lust but love as well. Can she convince them to forgive and trust her. All three will have to accept their destiny whether it be together or not, all three or not. I don't give spoilers so this is it. I recommend this book, and all the author's stories, to all who enjoy reading of shifters, their lives and loves, their heightened sexual and sensual sides, along with their weakness' and strengths and above all their loyalty to one another.

Check out my review of Krystal Shannan's latest book in her Sanctuary, TX series, MY GUARDIAN GRYPHON

I've read books 1-4 of this series and each time I don't think the next one can be better. WRONG, this story is now my favorite in the series. It's a grand love story, with great characters; filled first with deep friendship, then unrequited and forbidden love, suddenly understanding you love someone you can never have. All of this leads to "heck with the rules" undeniable passion, misunderstandings and horrible tragedy and deaths. Who, What, How? Well sorry but I try not to write spoilers so that's all I'm telling, except to say I can't wait for book 6. You will not be disappointed for this is a wonderful love story told among the backdrop of supernatural beings and humans that live in this town of glorious stories, Sanctuary, TX. Did I mention I LOVE this story, well I LOVE this story. I highly recommend this book to lovers of paranormal romance.

Review for Tracy Cooper-Posey's last book in her series Blood Stone, "Blood Ascended"

What an adventure this has been, suspenseful, sensual, surprising to the end. This fifth and last book in Tracy Cooper-Posey's Blood Stone Series, is once again filled with strong characters, fighting for the continuation of the human race. We have Rory, a NASA physicist, Sasha, a spy, and Dante, a former football hero. They, along with those we've met in the series previous stories, must fight nightly to save not only mankind, but vampires and others that call earth home, against the man eating race called the Summanus. While these three work out their desires and fears of being together, they learn that man is losing this war. They are not only out numbered but have been betrayed. Grab this final adventure of the Blood Stone Series and feel the power of love and desire, of strength and fear, of hopelessness but the courage and willingness to give all. I hate to see a great series end, but if it must, what an ending it is

My review for V.A. Dold's "First Kiss" from her new series K.I.S.S.

I love V.A. Dold's writing so I had no hesitation in reading her first book in her new K.I.S.S. series. Well, I was correct, it was just as good. We have two people who have sworn away from love. Both of them for different reasons, but both stubborn enough to stick to it. We have Joe, a widower with 2 kids, whose a ranch foreman and a modern day cowboy all the way from his boots to his Stetson. We also have Carol, who was betrayed by her boyfriend and has uprooted to come for a new beginning and help her friend set up a new medical office. The first time they meet each other is unexpected, but for Joe it, well it completely overwhelms him and he can't understand what's happening to him. Carol can't help but notice his good looks and gentlemanly manners. So they agree to have tea together. It progresses slowly but unknown to Joe, Carol's past includes a traumatic event, that along with her recent betrayal has her afraid to trust any man. Well that's all I can say without giving spoilers, but be prepared for a great love story that also has danger in a great Texas country background. But fate won't be turned away. I recommend this to anyone who loves a good cowboy romance, and all that comes from a past filled with heartaches and fear.

Review for Tracy Cooper-Posey's "XENOGENESIS" from her SciFi Endurance Series

This fourth book in the Endurance series is for lack of a better phrase, thought provoking. You don't have to be a sci-fi fan to "get" the story behind Xenogenesis. It's now been over 500 years into a thousand year journey to a new home and things are not going well. In the previous book a new system of money saved the self sustaining ship and it's many passengers. That system is no longer working due to that old earth illness "greed." If something is not done quickly the ship will not be able to continue. Two former lovers, and an impressive IA, have figured out the problem and how to correct it; but the majority of those living on the ship don't even see the problem much less believe in this "cure." That means life threatening danger to the one's trying to save the future for all, especially now that they have discovered their feelings for each other is still there. They will have to go to extreme measures to prove what is happening and how it is the end for all if they can't. I don't give spoilers so I hope I gave you enough to be intrigued by what I have said. I highly recommend this book to all sci-fi fans, as well as anyone interested in the economics of running a world that depends so much on its inhabitants working and living for the good of all. Who knows what our future holds; our future generations could one day be traveling through space towards, hopefully, a better world. I truly cannot wait to see what the future holds for the future generations board this ship as it has to travel several more hundred years to its destination. Will it even make it?

So Where Are The Thick Romance Heroines? Article by Tracy Cooper-Posey

I’ve been thinking a lot about the recent rash of images on Facebook and elsewhere, of gorgeous women, who are in no way, shape or form, slender.  There’s a motivational poster out there called “Thick women” that has four not-slender women in various sexy poses, that encourages people to celebrate women in all their sizes.
It’s a laudable sentiment, and I encourage it.  Women should be appreciated for their inherent beauty, regardless of their current size.
BUT
Heroines in romance novels aren’t “thick”.  Every Hollywood A-List actress you could name is not “thick”.
When you read romance novels, do you ever image the heroine to be carrying the same excess weight as you?
I know I don’t.  The heroine is always the perfect weight I have never been.  She is my mirror image perfected.  She is me as I’ve never managed to achieve.
There was a short-lived attempt to portray “realistic” heroines, about fifteen years ago.  The Rubenesque romance line lived a short life and died quietly, unremarked.  These days, any romance heroine who is less than perfect is usually only found in chick lit or romances with a high comedic element, like Bridget Jones’ Diary, where the excess weight is part of the humour … as pathos.
We don’t like our heroines to be less than perfect.  I don`t believe Hollywood will be allowing their actors to gain weight any time soon, because the box office receipts will drop as the actors’ weights soar.
For the same reason, I don’t believe I would be willing to experiment with an overweight heroine in one of my romance novels.  I’m sure it would tank, just as my novels that feature non-Caucasian heroines do.
So while we’re saying we should celebrate the “real” shape of women, why do we cling to this perfect – and slender — image in books and movies?  I know I do it.
============================================

As you can see this was written several years ago and I'm glad to say, things have gotten better where BBW are concerned.  Being one myself, (maybe not the beautiful part) I'm glad to say there are now quite a few authors who have "Thick Heroines" in their books.  Two of them are Carmen Falcone (you can check out her books, here, in previous post) and VA Dold/Tori Austen. You can check out her books her as well.

My review for Tracy Cooper-Posey's "Zoe's Blockade," from her Destiney's Trinities Series.

Okay I have one complaint, I WANT IT TO BE LONGER. I loved this story on the continuing Destiny's Trinity series. We have a new Trinity that consist of Zoe, Cole and Declan, and they have to be bonded quickly; we learn that this particular Trinity is quite different from the others. A surprisingly new paranormal is part of this group and before the end we have another surprise. Things are getting worse and the current groups are really working hard on locating the other Trinity's, while trying to keep up with the evil that is attacking the unaware human race. The three involved are really, and I mean really, taken by surprise and then top that off with the fact that it has to come to fruition quickly, as they come under attack. The Trinity's come together to fight them off and if they lose it could mean the end, for all the groups are needed to fight the evil. I really love the way you again meet characters from the previous Trinity stories; it's exciting to see them still involved and what they do to help. I try not to give spoilers but know I have to give you enough to grab and reel you in. If you love the paranormal you will love "Zoe's Blockade" and as for me, I can't wait to read the next story.

Review for Ann Gimpel's "A Run for Her Money" Book 3 in her Alphas in the Wild series

Wow !! At heart I'm a sci-fi nerd and this third book in the Alpha's in the Wild Series, "A Run for Her Money" fits in that genre, along with adventure, thrills, surprising twists, strong characters, sexy love, and a dog; LOVED it. What starts out as a routine park ranger mission, turns into a struggle for survival as Sara discovers that something terrible has happened. At the same time a backpacker is trying desperately to get to a safe haven after evading detection from what seems to be some kind of attack. You'll have to read this story to learn what transpires when these two meet and what they have to go through to survive and learn what has happened. They meet other survivors and what follows next, well all I can say is I want this made into a movie. Get the collection, get them separately, but get these books and you will love reading about these Alpha women and what they go through to make it to a new and better day.

Review for Ann Gimpel's "Alpine Attraction" from her Alphas in the Wild series

Well the mountain climbing background in this second book of the series, Alpine Attraction, was something knew for me. The alpha in this story is Tina and seven years earlier while climbing solo in the Andes she was on the brink of losing her life when unexpected help came. But in order to be saved she had to swear to come back in seven years. The experience changed her life; even leaving a good man, Craig, who loved her. We go forward and she is horrifically reminded that the seven years is almost up. This time she knows better than to go alone, and learns that Craig is taking an expedition up the same mountain and signs on as his medic. This story puts you right there with her as she once again is climbing the mountain. We feel her strength and independence mixed in with fear of the unknown. I recommend this story to anyone interested in native legends, magic, courage, and love. When you finish you'll either want to find a mountain to climb or get as far away from them as you can.

Review for Ann Gimpel's "Hello Darkness" the first book in her Alphas in the Wild series

In this first book in the series Alpha's in the Wild, "Hello Darkness," a woman in charge of a crew for the Park Service, was used and abused by the last man in her life. She's moved on and is stronger for it. Ready for a new assignment to prove herself, but as can happen, her pass gets in the way. An old love comes back, one that hurt her badly but has a story to tell her why. Her new assignment takes her to the backwoods to find her crew and get a job done. Then things get really strange; if she didn't know better she'd swear evil was out to get her. This is my first read that has a native American in it and it's not always good thing in this story. We have a story of the strength of love no matter how much time has passed and the obsessive madness of not letting go due to hate. I recommend this first of three stories in this series of strong Alpha women. Now to get to the second book so I can let you know if its a thumbs up like this first one was

Laxmi Hariharan's "Awakened" Review

Laxmi Hariharan's "Awakened"; it's how the world in her series, Many Lives, begins. It has so much going on you don't dare put it down till you finish. It's the story of a young girl, Ruby, who as a child wanted only to be loved, something she never felt from her parents, especially her mother. Due to this absence of love, she commits a horrific act and runs away. Now a young woman, she miraculously lives through an attempt on her life and is forever changed. She can see on her body the physical changes and the pain it causes her when she seems to be in danger. But there are more changes that she will not know till later (and I'm not telling). This also bring into her life a protector, Vik, a policeman; only she's not sure what his real goal is, nor what her true feelings for him are. Then her mother comes back into her life causing death and destruction to make a so-called better world. Ruby's story is very powerful, magical one and how this story ends, well it's the end of life as she knew it and the beginning of a new one for mankind.

Review of Jodi Vaughn's "Beneath a Blood Lust Moon"

I love the hero in this story, strong, loving and believes in keeping those he loves, whether they deserve it or not, safe from harm. Easier said than done has he's running for his life for protecting someone he loves. As men are looking for him he runs into someone who needs his help and to whom he has a strong attraction to. Can he help save her business while keeping himself hidden from those who are trying to kill him. As I said earlier, I really like this character and how he got to the point of running for his life is very good story telling. I recommend this book to those who love reading a good thriller, romance story with the great elements of a paranormal hero. Needless to say I can't wait to read her next one Shadows of a Wolf Moon.

Billionaire Fiance's Box Set - 5 great stories by 5 terrific authors, get now at your favorite on-line book site for $.99

Sicilian Engagement by Rachel Lyndhurst
Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon by Carmen Falcone
An Unsuitable Husband by Ros Clarke
Italian Affair by Annie Seaton
Wife for Hire by Christine Bell
So far I've read Carmen Falcone's Kidnapping the Brazilian Tycoon, I don't have the proper words to tell you how much I enjoyed reading this book.I could feel Addies passion for her cause and loss of Michael, then her conflicting emotions for Bruno, the disgust and shame he feels for himself in the end made him who he was; strong, passionate, but distrustful of women. With Addie's strength of purpose and willingness and Bruno's stubbornness to trust in the agreement they came too, then both of them finally understanding each other and admit it wasn't just sex but love.I'm still not saying all that I mean but this is as close as I can get to it. This doesn't even touch on how the story shows both the beauty and poverty of the authors country but the plight of the indigenous all over the world. Can't wait to read the other stories

Laxmi Hariharan's "Untamed," from her Many Lives Seried. My Review

This story is filled with so many emotions. We have a young hybrid shifter, Leana. who has always hated what she is and wants only to be human. She also is afraid that humans will learn about her parentage. Although she says she doesn't believe what people are saying about a young boy called the "Hugging Saint", she somehow finds herself going to the temple to see him. When she finally gets her hug, she becomes angry at what he tells her. This leads her to commit a horrific act and finally leads her to accept what she truly is. Talk about not wanting to give spoilers; I left you plenty of clues but to get the complete story and learn all about Leanna you need to get this book. If you love reading dystopian, shifter stories with some romance thrown in, this series is definitely for you and you'll discover a very different type of story than your use to in these genre's. It's a fantastic story, with a very different dystopian story and some eye opening characters

Check it out, plus all her other books https://www.amazon.com/Laxmi-Hariharan/e/B007M6E542/ref=sr_ntt_srch_lnk_4?qid=1476052479&sr=1-4

Krystal Shannan's "Chasing a Wolf" book 4 in her Moonbound series

A great addition to the series. Great wrong has been done by a shape shifter traitor. He has taken, and used in a horrendous way, shape shifter women. A great search is begin, and they finally find him, but deaths ensue and he escapes. I don't do spoilers, just let me say that everything that happens in-between these few lines is filled with discoveries, excitement, passion, tragedy. You have to pick up this emotional read now, and as for myself I'm reading the next book to read how the madman is caught and lost lives avenged.

Krystal Shannan's "Seducing a Wolf" book 5 in the Moonbound Series

This story brings us to the search for the evil shape shifter, Adrian, who has not only murdered some of the Moonbound shifters but has done horrendous evil to their shape shifter women. They goal is to find him, find a way to enter his compound, save those he has essentially enslaved and eliminate him forever. To do this they send in one of their own, Alex, undercover to find the information they need from Julianna, Adrian's daughter. Getting in was easy, as she has hired him to be her sexual companion for the weekend. Now, now, she's not really that kind of girl, you'll have to read about why she does this. Things don't go quite as Alex's goal was planned. He's strongly attracted to her, to the point where he believes she might be his mate. Wellll, talk about problems, he has them big times. Before he can confess what he's doing with her and that he thinks they are meant for each other, his cohorts break in. Well all hell breaks loose; will she ever believe him now? Can she be convinced of her fathers evil deeds. I've said more than enough, so you'll have to read the book to see all that takes place prior, during and after Alex first lays eyes on Julianna. If you enjoy reading paranormal romance with action and thrills this book, as well as the rest of the series, is a must read.

Author Ann Gimpel's "Lars" the second book in the Rubicon International series

This is the second book in the Rubicon International Series and it's just as exciting and sexy as the first book. We have Lars, the European location co-owner of Rubicon, an International Espionage Company. He's lived a very long time and no longer believes he'll have his forever mate and acts accordingly with the women. He's presently working a case where his goal is to kill a man who is one of the high ups in the heroin trade. While casing him out in a casino in Monte Carlo he sees the mans companion, whom he believes is a hooker or the mans current girlfriend. He later finds out her name is Tamara, and he is instantly attracted to her; like strong thoughts of a sexual nature. He tells himself he has to keep his eye on his goal. Later, after someone tries to kill him, he learns that the man has already been killed and they think it was him. Read what happens when due to dangerous circumstances he saves her life and now feels he has to keep her safe. They both are keeping secrets from each other but meanwhile they can't seem to keep away from each other. Find out what and why Tamara is keeping her secrets, and unknown to both of them, is in a way connected to Rubicon. I can't wait for the author to write the next book in the series, as Rubicon is filled with very interesting people and stories. After all it and it's owners have been around for over 200 years.

My reveiw of Ann Gimpel's "Garen" Rubicon International Book 1

This authors wide range of story telling is amazing; I never know what I'm going to be reading about when I pick up when of her books. This story is set against a background of an espionage agency, with all the danger and secrets that it entails. But the part I really liked best was the "no I'm not going there" attitude of both the hero, Garen, and heroine, Miranda. Garen is head of the American Rubicon International section of the company and Miranda is an agent, and the rules say that working together means no entanglements. They both are keeping secrets from each other the most important one being their heart stopping attraction for each other. Amongst the danger there is also humor, but the most glaring point to me of the story is the beautiful love story in the making. Once they admit it to themselves and each other, their love is all encompassing and full of passion. If you love paranormal romance with danger and a touch of humor, you have to get this book. I'm now on to the next in the series, "Lars". Be advised that the stories are stand alones but who doesn't want a good book to continue in one shape or another?

Review of Tracy Cooper-Posey "Terra's Victory" the final book in her Destiny's Trinity Series

"Terra's Victory," the final book in the Destiny’s Trinities Series, is for a lack of a better word, EXPLOSIVE. We have all the Trinities coming together to fight off the evil that has began killing off humanity. If they are able to fulfill the prophecy they will save all, but we know how that can go sometimes. They do all they can, but the enemies numbers just keep growing. There are many choices to make and no matter how they try to make the right ones, they lose lives along the way. They fear not only for the future of man but if they win what will happen to each Trinity; will they feel the same for each other, will they keep their powers. Regardless of their own consequences, they must all work together to move forward and do all they can to destroy the evil. They will try to do this while trying to spare and save those humans that have been changed and controlled by the enemy. They discover new comrades, much needed to overcome and destroy the evil. You will not be able to put the book down during those last few chapters when the strategy and fighting has begin. I give away has little as possible in my reviews and this one was especially hard for there is so much excitement to share, but no I won't ruin it for you. Read about your favorite Trinities and see the what, where and how the things I've told you about occur. You know what that means, GET THE BOOK, you will not be sorry. WHAT!!!!! You haven't read any of Destiny's Trinities stories, well what the heck are you waiting for. Grab them, read them, review them. As for me, I will miss them, but I'll move forward as they did and move onto new adventures written by author Tracy Cooper Posey.

Ann Gimpel's Roman's Gold

The author has really given us a new twist on paranormal shifters in this story. I thought it was extremely well thought out and written. We have Kate who is not only a shifter, but a sex surrogate as well, yep that's what I said. We have Devon who is working undercover to trap Kate, as now all shifters are dealt with harshly, like in death harshly. Due to medical procedures done to certain members of the police force, Devon and many of his co-workers are now in danger as well. Both must now deal with these consequences and must now run for their lives. Kate works for the underground shifter organization trying to save as many shifters as possible and now that Devon is on the run joins them as well. That's it, I've already said too much. To find out the who, what and why you must pick up this terrific story and learn of a very different twist of the shifter world.

Review anuthor Laxmi Hariharan's new book in her Many Lives Series, "Taken"

This world, from the magnificent mind of author Laxmi Hariharan, is filled with amazing, colorful, explicit, feel it as if you were there real characters. The description of the cities, land, the way of life as its changed is very explicit. This dystopian type event has brought forth a new species and changes across the world, and is filled with detail, emotions, fears, and longings. The two main characters, Aria, a woman who intends to never give up no matter what the situation or consequences, and Jai, who can have everything but wants only to be a good man and do the right thing. Brought together, they feel an instant "something", but do all they can to deny it. Can two people, from what amounts to different species, ever trust each other. They both go their own way, still fighting this feeling they have. But fate has more in store for them, and they meet again. Can they and their "people" work together for the good of all, will they finally admit to themselves and each other of their true feelings. I LOVED this story, it's filled with so much emotion that you don't want to put it down till you get to that last page. If you love paranormal, dystopian stories filled with ups and downs, hate and love this book is for you. Check out Laxmi's page on Amazon to see her other amazing stories: https://www.amazon.com/Laxmi-Hariharan/e/B007M6E542/ref=sr_tc_2_0?qid=1474227260&sr=1-2-ent

REVIEW FOR OPHELIA BELL'S "STONETREE TRILOGY"

The first story in the Trilogy is "Clawed" - The story concerns fables and how in this case they were true. We have a young girl, Emma, looking for answers concerning her suspected background, her missing father and the tales he told as she was growing up. Were the tales in fact true. She, along with her twin cousins, Jasper and Jade, decides to go searching for answers but what she finds is much more than she expected Now, as she discovers who and what she is, she must make some hard decisions concerning her destiny and the men, Gus and Julian, she has come to love. Will she follow her families destiny or her heart, or is there a third choice she can make. Pick up a copy and read one of Ophelia Bell's latest stories and maybe you will have second thoughts on those old wives tales you've heard before.

The second story is "Bitten" and now we have Jasper's story; the cousin of Emma and the brother of Jade. Jasper has in the distant past had a relationship that hurt him badly and now does not believe that he will find "real" love, that he will just be hurt again. What, or whom, he finds in this new world will make it hard for him to keep that belief. He and Jade are saved by Autumn and Gunner and his immediate attraction to the both of them confuses and scares him. But they are determined to show him he is wrong and will do what they have to. He must willing accept Autumn for her to bond and mate them both. Read this erotic and at times humorous story of what they all go through in trying to accomplish this; you never know Jasper may be two hard-headed to accept this world's fate.

The third story, "Nailed" and is Jada's story. She is use to the human world that she grew up in and is finding it hard to accept the role women have in this world. A world where women have the power. She wants a man who will take what he wants not because it's his duty. She has a lot to learn about what love and desire can accomplish. She finds she's attracted to two men, Sten and Orrick, both with their own beauty and desires, but feels that they don't want her for themselves but only for what she desires. Then she meets Aidan, whose been stripped of his family, home and has lost the woman he's loved forever. Her attraction for him is even stronger than for the other two. Can she show him he's worthy, can she really love and want all three. Read and see what happens to these four people, can she make them want her because it's her or will it be their duty. Oh my this is one hot story that you just have to read.

We have a BONUS in the Trilogy - "Solstice" in this we have more of Emma's story and what happens a year after meeting and bonding with her mates. They have returned to the Sanctuary, where Emma now lives with her family, including her mother the Queen. It is time of the Solstice celebration and the coronation of her becoming Queen. But little does she understand what that means. There's a surprise at the end, which I will not give away her, but it's an exciting one.

REVIEW OF Author Laxmi Hariharan's "FERAL"

The book is told by the young girl Maya, who has always felt as if though she didn't belong. Not to her family, her peers, her life. She confronts her mother and in anger leaves to the world they avoid in search of her "real family"; the world of humans. For Maya belongs to hybrid pack of werewolves. She leaves behind Luke, the one who loves her, in hopes of finding those who will be like her. Did her "mother" really find her or did she steal her away from a loving family. If she finds them will they accept her back, will she want to part of their lives, will she find someone to replace the love she ran away from. She will find more than she expected, a love that could have destroyed her. I don't do spoilers so all these questions can only be answered by reading the emotionally packed "Feral", a stand alone novella, the start of a new series by this author, the "Many Lives" series. If you like reading dystopian stories, this is a very different view of a changed world.

My review for K.C. Klein's "Lonesome Cowboy"

I thought this was a wonderfully written story showing drinking and sex don't mix, hidden feelings don't help; a story of two different people wanting to prove themselves. When your brought together due to a night of passion, then decide to try and make it work, will it work for all the wrong reasons? To make it worse, tragedy strikes making it even harder to show and give love. You feel the fear, desires, and anguish brought on by this one night, but along the way you feel what's really in the heart. The writer makes you understand both sides of the story and, for me anyway, wants both sides to come together and be happy. If you love cowboys and romance your going to love this story, and you'll learn that not every story can be filled just with happiness.

Check out Ann Gimpel's "Melis's Gambit"

A great novella, with plenty packed into it. We have Melis, struggling for her life after being attacked. She's able to save herself just to be discovered by a magical stranger who hunt and kill her kind?. He talks her into trusting him enough to help her. She goes to his magnificent home where she meets his daughter, a loving child, who due to very unusual circumstances is without her mother. Melis is strongly attracted to him and as we later learn he is more than attracted to her. Things come to a head when the missing mother returns for her daughter. This is a sweet paranormal story of discovering love, and trust while surrounded by danger.

Tracy Cooper-Posey's "Octavia's War" her latest in her Destiny's Trinities series - REVIEW

In this 6th book of Tracy Cooper-Posey's fascinating Destiny's Trinities series, I find this trinity to be the most exciting and interesting of all. The 3 individual's have very unique abilities, as well as being very different "people". Without them coming together to make this the final Trinity we humans may be doomed. They are being drawn towards a land that is both treacherous and beautiful. Following them are the evil vampeen led by one with great evil determined to stop this last trinity from forming so he and his fellow invaders can take over mankind. The story is exciting and the growing bond between them is sensual and at time humorous. Will they accept each other in time to fight along side the other Trinities and triumph or will their hesitation in bonding be too late. That's it, I don't do spoilers so I hope this is enough to get you interested. If you haven't read the series, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, grab them, read them, you will definitely enjoy them, then review them. I recommend this to anyone loving paranormal excitement and danger, humor, with hot sexy loving in your stories. Yes I do.

AUTHOR TRACY COOPER-POSEY - HER LATEST FROM HER "DESTINY'S TRINITIES" SERIES - "ZOE'S BLOCKADE"   MY REVIEW
